Pipes and Problems

November 6, 2020

Has it been a month already? It sure hasn’t felt like it, especially working on Sleuthhounds: Cruise. In addition to starting a new job, I’ve also been dealing with a sudden failure in my motherboard/CPU, which has required rebuilding my computer. It’s also finally forced my move from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Despite the new job and having to get my computer back into operational order again, I have still been making progress on the game and it certainly seems like getting things working is the theme of the past month.

Not all of the Sleuthhounds’ investigation takes place in the glitzy passenger areas of the ship. A good portion is conducted below decks, a far more austere setting. One such area is the ventilation room, which is responsible for ensuring the bad air goes out and the good air is drawn in on the ship. A mass of pipes and an intricate control board await the Sluethhounds here. Surely nothing could go wrong in such a vital locale.

[Not to worry. Homes will not have to fit into every pipe.]
