Bilge is a Funny Word

June 19, 2020

During their adventures through the ship in Sleuthhounds: Cruise there are several points where the two playable characters, Pureluck Homes and Jane Ampson, become physically separated but have to work in conjunction to overcome their obstacles. One such place is the cavernous bilge of the ship. Here Homes ends up down in the bottom of the bilge while Ampson takes the high road on a walkway above. The puzzle in this location isn’t significantly more complex than the puzzles throughout the rest of the game, but it feels more challenging because players have to figure out when to switch between the two characters in order to proceed.
