Meet the Suspects – Carmichael Portly

The ship in the upcoming Sleuthhounds: Cruise game is filling up fast as I bring out a sneak peek at another passenger this week. Obviously, with a new cruise liner, Sir Reginald Price is going to be on the lookout for some publicity. Hence the presence aboard of high society reporter Carmichael Portly.

Portly writes for the society page of a prominent paper. He recounts his experiences at restaurants, the theatre, the opera, and various society parties. Naturally, he’s found his way aboard the new cruise ship, the latest high society lark.

Portly’s reputation isn’t all squeaky clean though. He shares a weakness with Pureluck Homes for that most delectable of deserts: chocolate. Perhaps it is a weakness that Sir Price’s rivals can exploit. As such, maybe Portly’s hiding something. Or maybe he needs the help of the Sleuthhounds. Or maybe, just maybe, both.
