Two Worlds

Passenger areas aboard the Glorious Joanna, the cruise liner in Sleuthhounds: Cruise, are more refined, hotel-esque, and have paintigns and the like on display. The engineering lobby is a bit of a crossover from those more luxurious environs to the colder metal doors and bare floors of below decks. A peek of these can be seen in the door to the ventilation room and through the entrance to ship’s laundry.

I wonder why all those extras are lining up for the laundry.
